Industry News: The global podcast market was worth US$13.7bn in 2021, and could be worth $153bn by 2030

A new $4,500 report from Indian research company Acumen has released its forecast for Podcast trends and growth from 2022-2030.

Here are some of their key findings:

• The global podcast market could be worth $153bn by 2030, with a growth rate of 31.2%
• Asia-Pacific region looks to have the fastest growing podcast listenership between 2022-2030
• Rising use of the internet and smartphones, as well as increasing adoption of e-learning solutions, are the prominent factors that fuel the growth of global podcasting market
• Based on genre, news and politics segment held the maximum share for podcasting market in 2021
