Darius: "I have a buddy that is a TV agent, and his clients are writers for shows like Gotcha and Westworld. He said to me, 'We're living in the golden age of television.' I've always been a big fan of Talk Radio. I remember obsessing about the Howard Stern Show. And now you have all these digital radio shows, and there are tons of podcasts. So I would say, I think it's the digital age of content."

Jay: "We work with tons of businesses all the time where they don't really have that much from a content marketing perspective. They would probably describe their marketing strategy as patchy at best. Consistency is an issue."

Jay: "There's so much noise in the marketplace. It's not just about creating content but creating context. How can we create a greater context for everybody that's buying the book, everybody that knows about you, even from the analog world, that you have their name and number on your cell phone, but maybe you don't have them following you on social channels."

Darius: "Everyone says they have core values, but nobody uses them in a high utility function in their business. So I always ask business owners, 'Do you have core values in your business?'"
