Auction Industry Veteran Chris Deason Joins Jeff Martin Auctioneers as VP of Strategic Accounts

Brooklyn, MS --- Jeff Martin Auctioneers is pleased to announce the addition of Chris Deason, an industry veteran with extensive experience in the equipment sector, to spearhead the company's new Strategic Accounts Division. Deason’s background, consisting of military service, dealership roles, and company leadership, sets him up to drive substantial revenue growth and expand the company's partnership with the various sectors that make up the strategic account division.

Deason served in the Army National Guard from 1991 until his honorable discharge in 2000. His experience and various leadership roles within the industry with have paved the way for a distinguished career in the equipment industry. Beginning at the dealer OEM level he held various positions including Product Support, Machine Sales, Branch Manager, Regional Sales Manager, and Used Equipment Manager.

After gaining valuable experience working at the dealer OEM level, Deason ventured into entrepreneurship until he took a position at a national online auction company, where he played a crucial role in the company's growth before its acquisition by a global auction platform. During this time, he built regional teams, hired sales personnel, and managed dealer OEM business. In this time, he has collaborated with companies and industry leaders worldwide, further solidifying his expertise in the auction industry.

Having been in the equipment business his whole life, with a family history rooted in forestry, Deason brings a unique perspective to Jeff Martin Auctioneers. His experience spans the dealer OEM side, physical and virtual auctions, and a deep understanding of the industry's various facets. Outside of his professional achievements, Deason is a dedicated family man. He has been married to his wife for 28 years, and together they have two children. His commitment to family and community is as strong as his dedication to his career.

As Jeff Martin Auctioneers continues to grow, Deason's objective is clear: to establish a strategic national account team. This team, comprised of experienced professionals who can engage with C-suite offices, aims to capture additional business opportunities and significantly grow the division's revenue. "I've seen different facets of the business from different angles – the dealer side, the auction side, the different perspectives," Deason said. "My purpose here is to leverage this experience to build a strategic national account team that will drive significant growth for Jeff Martin Auctioneers."
