Downtown Ferry Terminal Project: Auckland Waterfront
Rockbond worked with the Downtown Joint Venture Team on the Downtown Ferry Terminal Project on Auckland’s waterfront. The Downtown JV Team created six new berths on the west side of Queens Wharf.
This was the first step towards a modern, consolidated ferry terminal for Auckland and the biggest upgrade to Auckland’s ferry infrastructure and passenger services in more than a century.
Preserving Heritage Buildings
Heritage-Grid is our FRCM (Fabric-Reinforced Cementitious Matrix) strengthening system, that utilises high-performance sprayable mortar and a Carbon-fibre or AR Glass grid to enhance the structural performance of brick, stone and masonry structures.
It’s a cost effective long-life seismic retrofit solution that preserves New Zealand's architectural heritage by strengthening old buildings and structures to better withstand seismic activity and reduce earthquake damage.
Here is another iconic heritage building getting strengthened with our Heritage-Grid structural strengthening system!
