I recently had the pleasure of speaking with Adam Schaeuble , a Podcast Growth Coach and Monetization expert, and his Limited Series Podcast Funnel strategy really resonated with me.
So naturally, I asked him to share the ins and outs of creating one.
What is a Limited Series Podcast Funnel?
First things first, let's clarify what we're talking about.
A limited series podcast funnel is a short, bingeable podcast series designed to act as a lead magnet.
It's not just another podcast – it's a strategic tool to attract your ideal clients and guide them towards your offers.
Why Choose a Limited Series Over a Private Podcast?
You might be wondering, "Why not just create a private podcast as a lead magnet?" Here's the thing: a limited series podcast has a significant advantage when it comes to discoverability.
As Adam explained,
"A private podcast is a podcast behind an email opt-in wall. So I have to go out and market that email opt-in wall to get people to the goal of listening to the private podcast."
On the other hand, a limited series podcast can be discovered organically through podcast platforms. This means your content is doing the marketing work for you.
Creating Your Limited Series Podcast Funnel
1. Choose the Right Name
The name of your podcast is crucial. It needs to be discoverable and clearly communicate what your podcast is about and who it's for. Adam suggests using a formula:
[Big Keyword] + Tips/Conversations/Discussions + For + [Keyword] + [Keyword] + [Keyword]
For example, "Content Marketing Tips for Lead Generation, Revenue Growth, and Business Success."

2. Plan Your Episodes
Aim for 20-25 episodes, each 5-15 minutes long. This makes your content easily digestible and bingeable. Start with an introductory episode explaining how to listen to the series, and end with a strong call-to-action.
3. Include Testimonials
Adam recommends including a fresh testimonial at the beginning of each episode. This builds credibility and showcases the results your listeners can expect.
4. Create a Companion Workbook
Offer a downloadable workbook that complements your podcast content. This not only provides additional value but also allows you to capture email addresses for further nurturing.
5. Set Up Your Email Sequence
Once someone downloads your workbook, have an email sequence ready to go. This helps you stay connected with your listeners and guide them towards your offers.
