Well, we're losing a reporter.

Ken Buffa has put in his time and is headed home to work for an NBC O&O.  Not a bad deal, huh?

That creates an opportunity for someone looking for career growth.

We have a pretty solid track record of growing reporters inside our newsroom and/or preparing them for the next level.  Reporters who've worked with us over the last few years are currently in Dallas, Philadelphia, San Antonio, St. Louis and other pretty big markets. 

Why?  To be honest, we don't make it very easy.

We're a reporter-driven shop.  We expect you to pitch enterprise stories.  We expect you to work contacts and dig up content the other guys don't have.  We expect you to utilize natural sound and creative photography to put together a visually compelling piece. 

And we expect you to kick butt on social media while you're doing all that TV stuff...

It won't be the easiest job you've ever had.  But it'll be pretty rewarding -- and you'll get better.  I'll promise you that much...

You might be thinking, "Little Rock?!?"  Trust me, it's probably better than you think.  You might even grow to love the town.  I have.  And heck, I'm from Texas.
