Attention VP of Sales: You DO NOT WANT to Hire Super Salesperson...

They will make your sales team miserable by outworking everybody,
including you!

The top superhuman type of salespeople of today are different than ever before. They have been forged in a world where there has never been an expectation of loyalty from you, and you should not expect it from them. 

They understand that profits are better than wages and they want big commissions or equity more than a salary.  They will earn you a lot of money but will not follow the same rules as the average producer.

Here’s what the superhuman salesperson knows:

Today’s world favors the individual contributor, not companies. In short, it favors them, not you, and they know it. 

The individual contributing frontline superhuman salesperson now knows that they hold the cards. They are the closest to the future marketplace and are keenly aware of where and when the shift in winds occurs in the field of play.  

They can adapt and change on a dime, daily if necessary, and will leave you and your company behind if it feels right.  

They can because the superhuman salesperson self-manages their own expenses that accompany this self-reliant mindset. They know that they have the same access to information and success tools that you, and every other company, have, no matter the size. 

What they don’t have are the hard assets and regulation costs that encumber corporate businesses currently.

Most importantly, the frontline superhuman salesperson is in business for himself/herself first and uses the company employer (you) as just another income source on their way to financial independence.

They know their value and they know that they are the most important part of every company. They know that the very survival of every business is dependent on “new” business sales. 

They expect to get fired if they don’t produce, and they will quickly find another welcome recipient of their craft if they get a whiff that their current employer is acting in a way that threatens their livelihood.
