Attention Project Managers: How to be SUPER-CONFIDENT?

Are we aware that Project management is a storm of activities going on in parallel? And, is not Project Manager in the center of the storm? He or she could be liked by some, but may not be liked by many, for obvious reasons. How to ensure you stand tall with head held high, not just confident, but super-confident in dealing with multiple stakeholders – could be customer, your team, your managers and many others. As an individual, who is strong communicator, one should be taken seriously, and a person no one will mess around. Here is the million dollar trick.

We all have a story to tell about our lives, our childhood, our parents, our siblings, our relations, our passions and strengths, our stories of hate and love, our work experiences and our real time characters who impact our lives..

I too had a story..but my story was not exciting me or making me dream for a better tomorrow, I was not aware that my story has been driving my future, I have been taking all the actions, putting all the efforts, but results were not coming to an extent I was expecting..

My dear friends, our stories could be very discouraging, making us feel miserable, pathetic and depressed, or we can craft our unique experiences in stories in a way to make them a learning experiences, making us feel enlivened, excited for the future of life that we want and cherish..

There are umpteen examples of people who have turned their stories of miserable past full of unpleasant experiences to a future of love, laughter, peace and prosperity. And this has been possible by turning around their stories, e.g. Oprah Winfrey, Ariana Huffington, Joe Vitale, Eckhart Tolle and many others..

All it takes is just, turning around your experiences by 180 degree and see the other side..look who you have become by going through an unpleasant experience, if you have. And you are ready for a new story, a new experience ..always remember, your past can be a bottleneck or it can be a teacher for your future. This is even more important for leaders, to stay motivated, excited and visualize about your vision and goals.
