On May 14 and May 15, 2020, I participated at the 26th Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU) PhD Forum. The theme of this year’s Forum was “Grand challenges in science, technology and innovation for policy and practice” and this year's Forum was the first one to take place virtually. The Forum gathered large number of PhD students from all over the world working on the topics related to the following areas: (1) collaboration for STI, (2) the future of STI policy and globalisation, (3) disruptive technologies, and (4) STI practices towards SDGs. During the first day of the Forum, at the "The future of STI policy and globalisation" session, I presented my paper - still a work in progress - titled "Questioning our understanding of innovation in and innovation policies for the creative industries".
