Attend Conferences.
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” — Hebrews 10:24-25 (NIV)
Attending conferences and events related to your mission is a powerful way to network and seek support. Networking is essential for sustaining your support-raising efforts, especially as the religious landscape evolves. Building relationships with warm contacts—people at church, conferences, retreats, and workshops—is key.
Engage with like-minded individuals who share your love for God and enthusiasm for His work. This isn't about being deceitful or insincere but about connecting with those who think like you and are passionate about similar missions. Through genuine relationships, you can find mutual support and invite others to join in what God has called you to do.
Spending all your time solely on your mission field without networking can limit your support network. Therefore, I encourage you to attend local events and, if needed, travel to other communities to connect with fellow Christians. Consistently maintain a network of people who can support you and whom you can support in return. This mutual support system will help sustain your ministry and broaden your impact.
