The Attack on Pearl Harbor--80th Anniversary Symposium

The Attack on Pearl Harbor--80th Anniversary Symposium

Based on my work as translator of the memoirs of Mitsuo Fuchida--commander of the attack on Pearl Harbor--I was an advisor to the Fuchida family in their search for an archival home for Fuchida's manuscripts and wartime documents.

The Hoover Institution at Stanford University--home of the Mitsuo Fuchida Collection--has begun the task of digitizing and cataloging the extensive collection.

On December 7th--the 80th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor--Kaoru Ueda and Yuma Totani will present a special symposium on the lessons learned about the attack that changed the course of history.

Wow! Stoked to see this archive is housed at Stanford. Your book (Fuchida's memoir) was a phenomenal read, and the ancillary WW2 information you put together was illuminating (your other WW2 book :)
