The attachment between the Genz and social media

Last month I was opportune to speak to diverse people physically about social media and the majority were Genz.

During my session with them, I observed these people weren't familiar with social media for the positive advantage.

Everything I explained seemed so new to them and I could tell the confusion on the majority of their faces on how to start utilizing social media..

The young people today depend too much on the economy to flip and become flexible, it's so unfortunate that many utilize social media for entertainment and a pretentious lifestyle.

The distraction on the web is more than the positive information via the space..

That's why many who are involved in one little business or the other find it hard to thrive due to lack of ignorance.

For instance, posting long threads on your Whatsapp status with awkward captions to gain sympathy is what the majority does..

Genz’s today invest more in luxurious phones that they can't utilize than information itself.

That's why today, the number of unemployed frustrated youth and ranking high.

Let's take a look at what you can do to utilize social media to your advantage.

? Revamp your mindset: you are in competition with no one except yourself, harness information more and approach it with an open mind.

? Change your circle: you can't grow if the people around you are exactly the way you are, flock around those who have gotten to where you want to be or with those who have like mind vision.

? Embrace learning apps and systems: instead of chatting or scrolling endlessly via Tok Tok or IG, go to these platforms and intentionally learn from top creators. Eg you may have a passion for writing, you can utilize search bars to know more creators in that industry and learn from them.

? Start from anywhere: There's no perfect time or way to begin building on any social media platform, start from anywhere, you don't need to be clear before you embark on that phase..

Clarity sets in when effort is made..

Research has shown that more than 70% of Genz are being distracted by the use of social media putting it into negative use..

Dear Genz, as much as social media is concerned, that place is your escape route from poverty..

We are blessed to have been alive in this time and age. I want you to utilize this media for your advantage, the economy is not flipping any soon, it's just going to keep flopping..
