ATOS in Action
Tough Stump Technologies exclusive GPS/ATAK enabled tracking tag was charged with providing safety of flight for the Texas Department of Public Safety for security of the NCAA Final Four tournament in spring of 2023. We provided tags, training, and consultation while members of the Texas DPS flew multiple UAS’s. ATOS allowed the entire DPS team to know the location of their systems seamlessly in the Android Team Awareness Kit and iPhone Team Awareness Kit for the entirety of the event.

Tough Stump enabled safety and situational awareness for the NCAA basketball tournament though the Texas Public Safety Robotics Summit held annually at at Reveille Peak Ranch in Burnet, TX. After our ATAK presentation we were approached about tracking UAS in ATAK and we had our ATOS kit to demonstrate. TXDPS saw the need of coordinating UAS flights for the event and asked TST to provide the system and consultation. TST integrated
ATAK with iTAK though a common TAK server provided by Par Gov’t. The event was smooth and from airspace deconfliction to general UAS situational awareness. TXDPS is integrating ATOS with their K9 program and exploring other missions that would require our tracking system. TST is proud that our product is there to help heroes protect and serve America!
