The Front Page Agency Inc‘s president recently outlined five ways for budding entrepreneurs to practice accountability in an exclusive meeting for industry professionals.

1. Write everything down

Mr. Williams is a strong supporter of making things visual. The entrepreneur believes that people should write everything down, from to-do lists to short and long-term goals. “Having a visual reminder has always been a powerful motivator for me, and helped me to stay focussed on what I wanted to achieve,” states Mr. Williams.

2. Create micro-goals

“Micro-goals play a significant role in helping to stay on course to reach the bigger picture,” commented Mr. Williams. The business coach contends that having several smaller goals to work towards and committing to achieving each one will help keep someone accountable when it comes to the overall success of the end goal.

3. Share your goals

“One of the biggest influences in pushing me to keep going, is the people around me,” stated Mr. Williams. The Front Page Agency Inc President believes that sharing goals is one of the best ways to be accountable. The Front Page Agency Inc President argues that if other people know someone’s aspirations, they can be a support and keep someone on the right track.

4. Review progress

Mr. Williams believes that it is vital to review progress to assess how near or far someone is to achieving their goals. “I constantly evaluate my performance and track my progress to ascertain what steps need to be taken,” said Mr. Williams. The business owner urges entrepreneurs to frequently review their progress to ensure they are holding themselves accountable.

5. Ask for feedback

Getting an outside perspective is invaluable “It can be hard to see clearly from the inside. I regularly ask my coaches and mentors for feedback as I know it is unbiased,” states Mr. Williams.
