Atom Fabs welcomes the new management team.

Managing Director Gavin Smillie is pleased to share the news that due to continued growth, Atom Fabs has promoted a number of staff members to Director level.

Gavin said that he was pleased that these dedicated employees had all come through the company and have a in-depth knowledge of the company enabling them to take Atom Fabs Ltd to the next level of excellence.

Kellie Hopkins

Finance Director

During Kellie’s time at Atom Fabs, Kellie embarked on a journey that commenced a decade ago as an administrative assistant, she has progressed through various roles, each contributing to her well-rounded expertise. She thrived as a production assistant for a dedicated two years before ascending to the challenging role of purchasing, where she excelled for an additional two years. Demonstrating her adaptability and ambition, Kellie transitioned into the realm of quoting, channelling her strengths into this role for four years. Her experience has led her to her current position as Finance Director along with heading up the quoting department. Kellie's journey stands as a testament to her perseverance and continuous growth within Atom Fabs.

Kellie is a huge petrolhead and visits car shows on a regular basis.

Jason Rendell

Business Development Director

With a remarkable nine-year journey in the company, Jason started as a welder/fabricator, swiftly advanced to Workshop Manager, and then took on the role of Sales Manager, successfully securing clients in the food and utilities sectors. Jason's wealth of knowledge, work ethic, and ability to build strong relationships have led him to this well-deserved promotion, where he will now lead Atom Fabs into new heights of success.

Outside of Atom, Jason enjoys spending time with his family & holidays to Cornwall.

Steve Dawn

Quality Control and Health and Safety Director

Steve's journey at Atom Fabs began 6 years ago when he joined as a mechanical design engineer. Over the course of these years, he made remarkable advancements. Four years ago, he expanded his role to include site visits in addition to design work. Taking on the leadership of the drawing office followed suit 2 years ago. Presently, Steve holds the crucial position of Quality Control and Health and Safety Director, his unwavering commitment to upholding rigorous standards and promoting well-being across the organisation.

Steve enjoys spending time with his children and is in the process of refurbing his motorhome.

Steve Long

Operations Director

Steve embarked on his journey with Atom Fabs on August 10th, 2020, stepping into the role of Workshop Manager. Apart from his commitments within the company, Steve has dedicated over 8 years to serving as a retained firefighter, demonstrating his deep-rooted commitment to community safety. Beyond work and firefighting, he takes pleasure in spending time with his family and embracing outdoor pursuits like rugby and golf.

Steve also enjoys walks with the new addition to his family, a Sproker called Penny.

The company will continue to support the staff growth as they progress in their individual roles here at Atom Fabs Ltd.
