Air Traffic and Navigation Services ( ATNS ) SOC Limited, in collaboration with Airlink and the Department of Basic Education , concluded its #mandelamonth initiatives, by handing over fully resourced ICT and Science laboratories to the Ka-Nkuri Village community on Wednesday, 26 July 2023.

Matsambu High School Principal, Mr Bobby Baloyi, said the facilities mean a lot to the school and the Ka-Nkuri community. “It will help us improve our previous years’ results, help learners to conduct research in various subjects and enable them to access previous examination papers, as part of their revision programme”. Our matriculants and unemployed youth may apply for placement at various tertiary institutions and be able to access various work opportunities nationwide.”?
“Our strategic partnership with ATNS is to ensure that resources such as the ICT and Science laboratories are used optimally, and learners’ performance meets the requisite standards. Learners studying Mathematics, Science and Technology (MST) subjects need to achieve a minimum of sixty (60) per cent or more. This is what we are looking for,” remarked Ms Matladi Khembo, Department of Basic Education Director, MST, Innovation and eLearning Unit.
Mr Mulomoni Nesengani, ATNS Senior Manager in the Office of CEO said among the many community-driven projects that ATNS has been involved in for many years, is its extensive Corporate Social Investment programme. “We expect learners to use these facilities to learn and advance their knowledge in STEM subjects. Matsambu High School can be a centre of excellence. Not only for its learners but for many others within the area as well. We have been to many previously disadvantaged communities across the country, with the sole intent of making a difference in the life of an African child”.?????????????
