Kiss my lips gently before you leave.
Whisper softly in my ear that you love me.
Let your tears dance on your cheek as they merge with mine.
Kiss my lips gently before you leave.
Kiss my lips gently before you leave
Hold my hand close, allow me to believe
I know it to be false but let me be deceived
Kiss my lips gently before you leave
Kiss my lips gently before you leave
Don't close your eyes, I'm not ready to see
I'm not ready to feel, stay with me please
Kiss my lips gently before you leave

A change of Atmosph?re
Do you think that music tells a story? Does the story always stay the same? Listening to Marijana Ajster's incredible album, Atmosph?re, over the last few weeks has generated a mixture of emotions but as I listened today, I was compelled to write the poem you see above. Something in the music, the moment, the emotion of the day caused this sensation, which may have been completely different tomorrow. Marijana doesn't just compose music, she composes stories.
Teaching with song and dance
As you listen to episode 4 of Series 2 of the Storytelling with Puck Podcast, you will hear some of Marijana's pieces. What stories do they tell you? What lessons do you learn? Marijana teaches and choreographs dance too as you will soon discover and there is a lot to be said for her style of teaching. Get a better understanding by clicking on the image below:

How many more times?
There are certain negative practices that Marijana doesn't adhere to with her teaching but some words, some negatives may be the catalyst for the positive. It depends on how they are said and what we take from them. There is one word in particular that the magnificent Iulia Farcas explores in detail for her A Tale of Two Series' story and you can watch it right here:
Relating through negative emotions
Sometimes, stories are full of woe. They make our hearts angry, sad, tired and nostalgic for better times so why do we share them? It's all about connection and relationship building. When we share, even the saddest of tales, we are sharing that others are not alone. We are allowing people who have never been through our pains to empathise, we are developing relationships on a deeper level. In business, it's good to share our successes but our troubles and woes matter too. It's not about shedding everything for the world to see but if a story is relatable, share it.
We'll be back next week

3 年Thank you, Stefano, for sharing my "Open letter to a word" ?? It was an interesting process for me to write this piece since, over time, I had such conflicting feelings towards this simple yet complex 2-letter word. And it was great reading it aloud during your Storytelling event.
