DevOps applied to your Atlassian instance has different advantages, it is easy to use and integrate, it automates processes in a very simple way, it is not limited to Atlassian tools and it has advantages from the economic point of view. These are just some of the advantages but depending on your company and use case you may benefit more from some than others. You need an analysis to be able to be more accurate.

If I recommend the course or not, the easy answer is yes.

The long answer: yes, but if you have knowledge of version control, CI/CD, automation impact and in general the flow of code development you will understand it better. Although the course has an intro it is not enough for you to understand all the advantages that the use of these tools will give you.

Feedback for atlassian to improve the course. Put more use cases and the implications/impact that these executive C-Level implications can have. While C-Level executives should understand the concepts and the strategic and economic implications this can have for their companies it is not always the case that C-Level executives feel comfortable dealing with all these concepts from a purely technical point of view.

In summary it was a good course, I enjoyed it and I can assure that if I understood better how we apply DevOps in the Atlassian ecosystem, it facilitates many tasks, allows us to automate many key points and from a technical point of view I found it very positive how the integrations work. But most important of all, DevOps with Atlassian makes the life of developers and teams much easier.
