Atlantic City, NJ will be holding another auction this year to put more properties in their possession in the hands of investors for development. The hope is to increase tax revenues, after a 3x drop the past few years. 194 properties will be up for grabs by Max Spann Real Estate and Auction Co at 11 am on December 17, 2019 at the Atlantic City Convention Center. If you would like information on the properties and to ask questions you will need to attend their information session scheduled for December 12, 2019 at the Council chambers on the second floor of City Hall. On this list are commercial lots, townhomes, duplexes and single-family homes.
I encourage not only builders and developers, but also community people who were born and raised in Atlantic City to join in on the potential discounts offered through this auction. Be a participant in the redevelopment of Atlantic City, its the only way to grow with it and not be gentrified out. One can join their bidders club and view the list of properties on this PDF. As shown on this map the properties are all throughout Atlantic City.
Come with your inheritance, work savings, lawsuit money, private money investor, checking line of credit, money under the mattress, commission check, 401k, or however you get it. Just get it and set it aside. There are multiple ways to find funding if you don't have it. If you have time, get creative. Crowd funding is helping many people to accomplish what they could not otherwise do alone.
