The Ateneo Center for Organization Research and Development (CORD), a center under Ateneo de Manila University's Department of Psychology, was first established as the Human Resources Center in September 1974. It was the brainchild of Dr. Patricia Licuanan and Dr. Carmela Ortigas (?), two of the most esteemed psychologists in the country.
Through the years, CORD has been a leader in building competencies of practitioners, creating context-sensitive models and theories, generating and sharing knowledge, and developing and facilitating evidence-based solutions in strategic human resource management and organization development.
The year-long celebration of CORD’s 50th year will include the following activities:

An event with CORD's mission partners. This activity, aptly titled "Hats-off" seeks to honor individuals and offices in the University that closely work with the Center in the delivery of its programs and services.

A reconnection event with the graduates of CORD's Diploma in Organization Development and Diploma in Strategic Human Resource Management and Development.

To bolster CORD’s efforts to contribute towards environmental sustainability, the Center will offer a free online course on Organization Development (OD) for Social Entrepreneurs whose organizations have a strong thrust to environmental conservation and protection.

The conclusion of the year-long celebration. A gathering of friends and colleagues who have been partnering with HRC and CORD in creating research-driven HR/OD solutions through the years.
