Stress is a powerful catalyst for action, and it can feel good too. We cut through the noise and make decisions or muscle up and complete the project before the deadline.
Stressing our muscles - strengthens them too.... well, sort of.
Our GROWTH occurs when we rest.
We kid ourselves that with euphemistic comments like "stress is good for you" - remember "U-stress"?
Sustained stress grows a mindstate, then a mind, and then a?you,?that is:
Don’t kid yourself with,?"Once we get through this [tender / project / short period of busyness etc] I can take a break."
Because you won't! There will be the next hurdle, and then the next.
Find strategies to dial back to an open, relaxed, and clear mind state as part of your routine.
