Welcome to this week's CloudBites weekly, once again packed with your Salesforce news and tidbits for the week. Grab a coffee and get ready for this week's latest updates.
Asynchronous Processing Decision Guide
By now I hope everyone is familiar with the Salesforce Well-Architected framework and the Salesforce Architects site - a true goldmine of information. Salesforce have just released a new decision guide on asynchronous processing and it is fantastic.
Designing effective asynchronous processing systems is one of the harder problems out there; getting it wrong can leave you with a real mess. This article is an excellent guide on the decisions to make, and the patterns and tools to implement. Definitely worth a read!
Agentforce Service Agent Preview
Gabe Sumner from Salesforce shared a sneak peek on the Agentforce Service Agent capabilities that I expect we will all be hearing a lot about in the coming weeks.

I particularly like the guardrails feature. I won't lie but I have a real nervousness about completely automated agents using some of the generative AI tools as I have seen some wild and crazy results in just using things like ChatGPT or Github Copilot, but I am optimistic that my nervousness is going to be shown wrong. I look forward to hopefully getting access to this in a developer environment soon to test out.
Free Formula Tester App
The team at Nebula Consulting have released their first free AppExchange app and it caught my eye - Formula Tester!
Have a read of the announcement post from Paul Kissick from Nebula here and give it a whirl. I love the idea of being able to test with records and see what answers you get to help debug the formulas you write - especially when they are more complex or involve times etc. Thanks to the Nebula team for sharing!
Have a great week!
