The first-of-its-kind, generative music tool that creates 1/1 audio NFT collections from a single source, aims to restore the connection between musician and fan by reviving the thrill of uncovering a new favorite vinyl in a record store.?

We buy vinyl records not just to listen to them, but to feel something, to signal something, and to act as patrons of our favorite musicians. As humans, we’re hardwired collectors, and collecting music, musical experiences, and memorabilia is no different. As we transition into the natively digital era, we are also moving towards digital collectibles in the form of music NFTs.?Async Music Blueprints?is built with this in mind – it’s a way for musicians to give fans something special and unique, as well as establish a genuine connection with their fanbase.

In building Music Blueprints, we thought a lot about ‘the record store moment’, where you pull out a new vinyl from your favorite musician in your local record store - you don’t know what magic number you’re going to hear until you put it on the record player and press ‘play’. This is somewhat lost in a world of streaming, where music is so easily accessible (and there’s so much of it), that we rarely take time out to really listen and appreciate an artist at any given time. Music Blueprints revives this record store moment: collectors click the ‘mint’ button, sign the transaction from their wallet and it triggers the reveal flow sequence. The personalized Edition is constructed before the collector’s eyes, the properties are revealed one by one as the NFT is algorithmically generated.

Music Blueprints places interactivity at the center stage of music production, bringing fans and musicians closer than ever. When a collector mints an Edition, they choose to bring that Music Blueprint NFT into existence out of thousands of possible combinations the artist has uploaded. Insofar as the artist enables the feature, each one of these individual components – the bass, synth, drums, vocals, etc – can be downloaded and used by the fan for their own creative endeavors. The Edition is unique, belongs to a limited collection, and represents a personalized musical experience – something that the music industry has yet to achieve on a large scale. Music Blueprints enables the return of the value and intimacy of the vinyl record in a natively digital context.

Through cutting-edge technology, Music Blueprints puts control back into the creator’s hands. In accordance with the ethos of web3, it focuses on ownership, interaction, and P2P. Its end-to-end approach – payments in crypto – means that sales go directly from the collector’s to the artist’s wallet. Our aim is to solve technological challenges, as well as provide artists the power and freedom to work creatively.?

Created by musicians for musicians, the tool is built with the creation, consumption, and distribution of music works in mind. It’s powerful, intuitive, and most importantly requires zero coding knowledge. Our aim was to take classic music production and add a generative element to produce unique collectible Editions. Producing thousands of unique, immersive tracks individually would be an arduous task for musicians and we are able to provide a simple, scalable solution to this.

An Edition is more than just a track – it can be whatever the creator chooses it to be. What can begin life as an audiovisual 1/1 NFT has the potential to evolve over time. It could grant entry to a concert, and provide exclusive access to a presale, fan content, or metaverse event. Music Blueprints can allow artists to give dedicated fans something extra special, something that could unlock a world of personalized musical experiences, digitally or physically. With a concentrated, identifiable fanbase, artists can continue rewarding dedicated listeners with airdrops of new music, digital wearables, collectibles, as well as physical items such as personalized vinyls and merchandise.
