ASUG & Blackhawks: 2 Chicago legends at the same place
Earlier in March, Chicago hosted 2 exciting events at the same venue. Blackhawks played Senators, and also, ASUG Chicago team gathered together for quite a few insightful sessions.
Rickey King & Steven Bonuchi shared an intriguingly new option, ie, SAP S/4HANA Cloud, private edition, customer data center option. Basically, this option brings the power of cloud to those organizations who are not able to use public cloud option with SAP RISE.
Next, Michael D. reinforced the need for operational analytics with ability to drill down enabled by embedded analytics. Michael helped the attendees understand the difference between embedded Vs enterprise analytics, the technology components needed and simple guidelines on when to use which analytics. This resonates well with organizations struggling with traditional ETL pipelines for analytics Vs new, merged OLTP & OLAP platforms.
This is getting increasingly important for organizations who are looking to operate with SAP S/4HANA system and leverage its analytics capabilities.
I was especially intrigued by the SAP RISE On customers data center option, very keen to know how this shapes up.
