New name reflects vision for the future — the Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation
To be completed in Fall 2025, the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College is excited to announce they are becoming the Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation . In the years since 2006, when the Fulton family made their transformational gift, the college has become a leading college of education in the U.S. and, increasingly, the world. While the college still sets the pace for teacher-preparation, they do so with the understanding that their commitment to educators and learners should — and does — extend beyond teacher preparation.? Between now and Fall 2025, you will begin to see the change take place on official university and college communications. There is much work to be done to make this transition happen, and the college recognizes you may have many questions. To help, the college has started a Renaming FAQ that is expected to grow in the coming weeks and months. In the meantime, you are encouraged to start referring to the college as the Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation.? To learn more, we invite you to read this article from Dean Carole Basile who provides a thoughtful and informative overview of this exciting development.
