As part of the 40th International Tree Climbing Competition (ITCC) a grant was used from the Arborist Safety Training Institute (ASTI) to provide an applied workshop on basic operations and safety for chain saws and chippers. The inaugural ASTI training was last year at this event in Florida. I was fortunate enough to be involved with both events. We had great participation from the attendees and great support from the sponsors. Check your industry calendar of events for more opportunities like this soon!
