"Assume they don’t know."

"Assume they don’t know."

We often hear about the importance of team alignment and agility. However, many of us fall into a subtle trap: assuming our colleagues know what we know. This assumption can lead to inefficiencies, missed opportunities, and frustration within our teams and companies.

It's worth considering: Have you explicitly shared your working style with your team? Do they know how you like to work, your most productive hours, and your preferred method of communication?

Remember, what's second nature to you might be a mystery to others.
