Can you tell us about your journey in the hospitality industry?

I began my hospitality journey in 2010 and joined The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort in the Culinary Department as a 'Stewarding Supervisor.' Over the last 5 years, I've embraced 万豪酒店 's inclusive culture and values, growing from a Supervisor to an Assistant Stewarding Manager. It's been a fantastic ride filled with learning, personal growth, and a lot of joy in contributing to the company.

You have a diverse background, including 13 years in the film production industry. How has that shaped your approach to your current role?

My years in film production taught me creativity, teamwork, and resilience. Transitioning to hospitality, I brought a unique perspective to my role, always aiming to deliver something different. My passion for cinema still burns, and I believe the skills from my past enrich my contributions to The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort .

Tell us about your passion outside of work.?

Exploring places like Pokhara, Lumbini, Palpa in Nepal, and various international destinations has been rejuvenating. It's a source of inspiration that keeps me motivated in my professional journey. Volleyball is also my stress-buster. Whenever time permits, I make sure to indulge in a game. It's not just a sport for me; it's a way to unwind and stay physically active. The positive energy from playing reflects in my work as well.

What inspires and drives you each day in your professional endeavors?

I firmly believe in lifelong learning. The more you learn, the broader your perspective becomes. It transforms the way you approach challenges. Learning is a continuous process, and I strive to absorb everything I can, bringing fresh ideas to the table.

My advice to colleagues is to embrace every opportunity, keep learning, and never underestimate the power of teamwork.
