Duties
Supporting the subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and agreement of terms
Monitoring project costs and variations under supervision
Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and risk management
Collaborating with the project team to address commercial issues and find cost-effective solutions
Supporting with the Preparation and submittals of monthly reports on project financial performance
Conducting cost and value reconciliations, as well as interim and final account agreements
Managing cash flows / budgets and all financial information as per the companies policies and processes.
Assisting in managing of the working partnerships with Housing Associations, third party providers and sub-contractors to ensure that all contractual terms are met and ensure that all orders are placed
Committing expenditure on the internal COINS ERP system
The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will have:
A RICS Accredited degree qualification
Previous Quantity Surveying experience in a UK Construction Contractor
Basic pre & post contract experience
Valid UK Driving license
Salary and Package (depending no experience)
￡22,000 - ￡35,000
Car allowance (depending on experience)
