The Assistant Head of Business Services is a key leadership position within the Business Services team at Danebank. Working strategically and closely with the Head of Business Services, the Assistant Head of Business Services plays a critical role in ensuring the financial health and integrity of the school, providing strategic financial oversight and team leadership.

A prime responsibility of the Assistant Head of Business Services is to support the Head of Business Service to provide outstanding leadership across various aspects of the school's financial operations, including budgeting, reporting, auditing, and compliance. The Assistant Head of Business Services acts as a key advisor to the Head of Business Services, providing financial insights to support decision-making processes and contribute to the school's overall strategic objectives.

  • Expertise in financial management and reporting, with a strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes within an educational or similar complex organisation.
  • Leadership skills in managing and developing a finance team, with the ability to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
