Assistant Controller - Respected Mid-Sized Business w/STELLAR Culture!

Growing and stable Omaha company with a positive and energized environment has experienced years of growth and success and is hiring an Assistant Controller to join the core accounting leadership team. Work closely with the Controller and CFO of this growing business and take ownership for the integrity of the General Ledger and oversee all aspects of the accounting team. We are searching for a continuous improvement-minded individual who enjoys leading / coaching others, who fits into this company’s helpful, GSD team culture where no one cares who gets the credit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversight of monthly and quarterly close and management reporting activities
• Leadership of the fixed assets and inventory process
• Communication with operations, sales, marketing and Human Resources daily on company initiatives and projects
• Own multiple process automation projects that will enable accounting to support the company’s growth
• Supervise a team comprised of both degreed accountants and a stellar team of AP, AR and Payroll professionals
