This is a comprehensive policy that covers accidental damage, fire, and burglary to the insured Items.

In other words, the policy covers virtually all insurable perils except the specifically excluded ones.

Business Interruption

Business Interruption or Consequential Loss policy is a policy designed to provide indemnity to the insured in respect of loss of net profit as a result of the interruption to the business, standing charges such as rent and interest, and wages and salaries of employees.

This is normally due to fire outbreaks or other damages that may occur at the insured’s business premises.

Business Interruption or Consequential Loss policy is not issued on a stand-alone basis but issued as part of either a Fire Multi Risks policy or an Assets All Risks policy.
