Organizations can use these principles to evaluate the products of AMS decision making and value generation. In this context, asset management is only a means to generate value. Systematic value generation is advantaged through standards-based approaches and an Asset Management (AM) Framework. These principles give insight to help organization’s quickly develop robust, responsive AMS solutions. Doing so minimizes time and effort required to manage assets and provides more time and energy for operational activities and achievement of key stakeholder needs and expectations.
