Assessment of The CETS Global Carbon Emissions Reduction Program To Pay Environmental Racism Reparations in America

My Review: CETS Global Inc’s Comprehensive Strategy to address Environmental Racism through the development of Smart Net-Zero Agribusiness Eco-Villages and other initiatives.

nZg June 21, 2024

Environmental racism is a critical issue that intersects with climate change, social justice, and public health. It refers to the disproportionate impact of environmental hazards on marginalized communities, often along racial lines.

George E. Jones Jr.'s article on the CETS Global Carbon Emissions Reduction Program highlights a Comprehensive Strategy to Address Environmental Racism through the development of Smart Net-Zero Agribusiness Eco-Villages and other initiatives.

This essay aims to discuss the key points from the article and analyze the potential impact of these initiatives.

CETS Global Carbon Emissions Reduction Program

The CETS (Cutting Edge Techno Solutions) program is a robust initiative aimed at achieving Net Zero emissions while addressing the social and economic disparities exacerbated by environmental racism.

The program proposes a $500 million investment into advanced technologies like gasification and anaerobic digestion to produce biogas, clean water, and sustainable energy.

These technologies will serve an entire community, demonstrating a scalable model for sustainable development.?

The project will establish innovation centers and provide resources and funding to support research and development in agribusiness. This will encourage the adoption of advanced technologies, such as automation, artificial intelligence, and data analytics, to improve efficiency, quality, and competitiveness in the sector.

?Smart Net-Zero Agribusiness Eco-Village

?One of the cornerstone projects of CETS is the development of a Smart Net-Zero Agribusiness Eco-Village in the Philadelphia region.

This eco-village aims to integrate smart agriculture with Net-Zero principles, promoting sustainable farming practices and food self-sufficiency.

The Eco-Village will feature:

1.?? Advanced Waste Management:

Utilizing underground wet/dry biomass waste collection systems to ensure efficient and hygienic waste disposal.

?This waste will be converted into valuable renewable byproducts like biogas and organic fertilizers.

?2.?? Energy Generation and Distribution:

Using gasification and anaerobic digestion technologies to produce biogas and thermos heat, which will power combined heat and power (CHP) utilities for the community.

?Excess electricity will be stored in a sophisticated battery energy storage micro-grid ecosystem.

?3. Urban Farming Spaces:

Greenhouses and urban farming spaces will provide fresh produce for the community, promoting food self-sufficiency and offering serene retreats for residents.

CETS and I believe remediation of the Ambler Sites via Bio-Remediation and other newly discovered processes CAN reclaim this area and build Smart Net-Zero Infrastructure development facilities instead of vegetation cover or conversion into a park that will not provide income opportunities or Net-Zero Emission Reduction via De-Carbonization.

??Addressing Environmental Racism

?The article highlights the severe impact of environmental hazards on marginalized communities in the Philadelphia region, citing examples like Chester and Ambler, Pennsylvania.

These areas suffer from higher exposure to pollutants, leading to significant health issues and depreciated property values.

The CETS program aims to address these injustices by:

1. Mitigating Pollution: Implementing technologies to reduce emissions and pollution in affected areas.

2. Economic Opportunities: Creating jobs and economic opportunities through sustainable practices and renewable energy projects.

3. Health Improvements: Reducing exposure to harmful pollutants, thereby improving public health outcomes.?

CETS’s future-ready workforce and entrepreneurship training and certification program will recruit and position 7,200 participants per year into one of our Business Model green job opportunities. We will create 72,000 estimated new permanent jobs with benefits and stock options over ten years across a regional (90-mile radius) marketplace.

??The Role of Federal Initiatives

The article also discusses the Biden administration's Justice40 Initiative, which aims to ensure that at least 40% of federal climate action benefits flow to historically marginalized communities.

While this is a step in the right direction, the article argues that more needs to be done to codify equity considerations into a broader climate policy.

This includes massive investments in infrastructure and localized, preemptive approaches that incorporate equity into every stage of project implementation.

??Strategic Partnerships and Long-Term Vision

CETS is committed to forming strategic partnerships with government agencies, urban planners, architects, and environmental organizations. These collaborations aim to align their projects with sustainability goals and regulatory frameworks.

The long-term vision includes:

ü Decentralized Circular Economies: Transitioning regional markets into Smart Net-Zero Emissions Circular Economies by 2050.

ü Value-Based Investments: Establishing Value-Based-Investment (VBI) Funds comprising stocks, bonds, NFTs, and tokens focused on renewable and organic commodities.

ü Foreign Trade Zones: Creating CETS Corporate Campus sites as Foreign Trade Zones to save on duties and processing fees.

CETS will provide its partners or contractors with an environmentally sound, bio‐secure, and safe means of converting these wastes generated through the normal production requirements of the area’s agricultural enterprises, institutional food service providers, municipalities bio‐degradable wastes (including household food wastes and sewage sludge), livestock enterprises, food processing procedures, and restaurant food wastes into new products with worldwide market demand.

??Conclusion

?The CETS Global Carbon Emissions Reduction Program represents a comprehensive and multi-faceted approach to addressing environmental racism while advancing sustainability goals!

By integrating advanced technologies, promoting sustainable agribusiness practices, and forming strategic partnerships, CETS aims to create resilient and equitable communities.

These initiatives not only mitigate the impacts of climate change but also provide economic opportunities and improve public health, making a compelling case for a more sustainable and just future!
