Over the weekend I moved all of my writing from my blog/website "Off The Tracks" to my Substack ("Sounds Good!") For a couple of years I've been balancing a three-times-a-week newsletter with some blogging and reviews over on my regular old website. The site is old (I started it in late 2011) and it needed an upgrade. It seemed silly to be publishing in the two places. So now it's all under one umbrella.

To access the archive you will need to be a paid subscriber. I am offering my subs at the cheapest rate you can offer on the Substack platform. That's $5 a month or the bargain rate of $35 for a year.

Over the weekend I gave away a bunch of paid sub trials. The readers didn't even know until they saw a surprise in their email. I picked at random, and even picked the trial-time at random. So, some readers are getting a free month, some are getting 90 days, some are getting six months. One or two got a free year.

The hope - of course - is that they'll extend, this will prompt them to sign up.
