Ask For the Business
When you hear a story about someone’s legal problem, talk about how you solved the same problems for your clients. Offer to do the same for them.
You have wisdom and experience that people need. Don’t hold back, be generous.
Most people will be flattered to be asked for their business. People might think that you don’t have time for their business; you never know until you ask.
The next time you’re with a prospective client, tell them you’d like to represent them and ask for their business.
