Asian One Air C208's Brake Malfunction Leads to Runway Excursion at Kenyam Airport
On Monday, 9 October 2023, at 12:15 LT, a Cessna 208B Grand Caravan operated by Asian One Air, bearing registration PK-LTF and MSN 208B0922, faced brake issues while preparing for departure from Kenyam Airport in Nduga Regency, Highland Papua, Indonesia. This malfunction caused the aircraft to veer off its designated path, resulting in a runway excursion into an adjacent field. HondaJet Runway Excursion at Steamboat Springs Detailed
On October 7, 2023, at approximately 16:00 local time, a 2021-manufactured Honda HA-420 HondaJet, bearing the registration N803JT and linked to Wheels Up N1124BR LLC, encountered a runway excursion while attempting to land on runway 32 at Steamboat Springs Airport (SBS/KSBS), Colorado. Originating from Meridian-Key Field (MEI/KMEI) in Mississippi, the private jet landed without injuries, but ensuing images highlighted notable damage to its left wing. This incident is the 21st recorded runway excursion for HondaJets since 2015, with the aircraft having a maximum crosswind limitation of 20 knots.
