Asia Advisers Network – My personal favourites

Here’s a list of my personal favourites on Asia Advisers Network in 2020. Did you read them? Do you remember them? Which do you like best? Is there any that you remember but it’s not on the list?

Somehow agents and advisers always seem to be easy targets. This ad was published in the Philippines and naturally, financial practitioners were upset with it. Not the first time we’ve covered something like this. Hoping it will be the last of such tasteless ads, but somehow I doubt it.

This interview with Asyraf Ghazali, a 24-year-old Financial Representative from Great Eastern, was highly memorable. Despite what he has gone through in life, this guy has a megawatt smile that instantly brightens you up. Count our blessings.

I may be biased but, hey, my son is in this haha… But seriously, I love this because it was a series of content we did in collaboration with AIA Singapore, much needed opportunities in a challenging economy. The team had fun putting this together with a vox pop, panel and this where my boy spent a day at AIA’s office interviewing some financial services consultants.

The premier awards to recognise the best and the brightest in financial advisory with an independently-audited judging process. Organised by Asia Advisers Network, Asia Insurance Review, co-organised by LIMRA, with Strategic Partner AIA.

No easy task putting together an event to help financial practitioners given the fluid situation around COVID restrictions. Glad we pulled it off with the support some of the biggest names in the industry and the interest from the community, in partnership with Jensen Siaw International and GoalsMapper.

MDRT Virtual Event coverage in association with Manulife. Always a highlight and an event packed with much wisdom and inspiration for financial practitioners. Also a sign of Asia Advisers Network’s influence and role in the industry in bringing the event’s highlights to all.

How often do you get the chance to follow a top adviser around? The team did it in this coverage to give you a glimpse of the kind of effort and schedule needed to achieve big goals in the career.

This was a great interview between Sharon and Jaden. Getting the doubts and questions on most people’s minds cleared and answered when they are considering to join the industry.
