Ashley Capital Buildings at Crossroads North

Things are moving very well for the Ashley Capital Crossroads North project as we are in the site development stage of construction, meaning moving dirt and debris, and clearing the site in preparation for foundations to be poured. We are expecting that construction of the new warehouse and distribution buildings will be completed this year.

 The project consisted of three new buildings for Ashley - Building 4 is a 261,000 square foot and Building 5 is a 660,000 square foot facility, and are currently under construction. Building 6 will be 660,000 square feet, and construction is expected to start later this year.

 Designing buildings of this size can be a challenge as efficiency is very critical. Inefficiencies in a very large building get multiplied very quickly and if we are not diligent with “efficient design” those inefficiencies get costly. Also trying to make a large warehouse or distribution building look as aesthetically pleasing as possible, given the nature of the buildings, is also a challenge. Updates on these will follow as the buildings near completion.
