The Collaborators Award is presented annually, when appropriate, to members of the ASGPP either in pairs or in teams, whose work over time has made a contribution to the learning and practice of psychodrama, sociometry and/or group psychotherapy, and whose modeling of collaborative roles deserves to be brought to the attention of their peers.
In 2007, Collier and Urmey decided to start sharing what they had studied and loved for decades, the theory and application of psychodrama, sociometry, and group psychotherapy. Their first presentation at a 2007 Monmouth University School of Social Work honor society event started what is now Psychodrama New Jersey, LLC.
After presenting several dozen workshops at universities, hospitals, non-profit agencies, national and local conferences, and independently Scottie officially formed Psychodrama New Jersey, LLC in 2012 as an institute for psychodrama training and clinical psychotherapy. Ron and Scottie continue to welcome students and professionals with education and expertise from various fields and backgrounds into training at Psychodrama New Jersey.
In January 2015, Psychodrama New Jersey found its home within the Mental Health Collaborative in Oakhurst, NJ. The Mental Health Collaborative includes Psychodrama New Jersey, Ron's clinical private practice, Ronald Collier LCSW, LLC, and Tamara Cafaro, MSN, RN, APN of Whole Mind, LLC.

ABOUT THE ASGPP
The American Society of Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama is based in Princeton, N.J. It was founded in April, 1942 by Dr. J. L. Moreno. In 1947, Dr. Moreno started the journal, Group Psychotherapy, which later became The Journal of Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy, the first journal devoted to group psychotherapy in all its forms. ASGPP was the pioneer membership organization in group psychotherapy and continues to be a source of inspiration for ongoing developments in group psychotherapy, psychodrama and sociometry.
The purposes of the Society include fostering the national and international cooperation of those concerned with the theory and practice of psychodrama, sociometry, and group psychotherapy and promoting the spread and fruitful applications of the theories and methods of psychodrama, sociometry, and group psychotherapy in professional disciplines concerned with the well-being of individuals, groups, families and organizations.
