Los Angeles, California - August 28, 2024 -? ASD Market Week has appointed Yanet Gavira as the new Director of Attendee Acquisition focusing on the Latin America (LATAM) region.
In her role, Yanet will be instrumental in shaping and executing growth strategies aimed at VIP decision-makers across key LATAM markets, focusing on attracting high-profile buyers from Mexico. Her efforts will be pivotal in managing and expanding ASD’s buyer pipeline, promoting our events, securing registrations, and ensuring a seamless experience for all our participants.
Yanet joins ASD Market Week with over 15 years of experience in the meetings and events industry, focused on developing key customer relationships and facilitating vital business opportunities.
Previously at Reed Exhibitions, she built strong relationships with Chambers and Professional Associations in Mexico. She oversaw the large Hosted Buyer Program for IBTM events, where she grew the program and attendance by an impressive 35%. She was also successful as the Show Director for Top Flotillas y LOGEX, where she developed and implemented a strategy to significantly increase attendance over a 3-year period.
Before that, she worked for Centro Banamex Convention Center on numerous trade expos and conventions.
Yanet will be hyper-focused on attracting Mexico buying groups as well as key buyers from the LATAM region to ASD Market Week beginning in 2025.
