Ascoat's April Anti-Static Adventures
April has been a productive month for the team at Ascoat, having been involved in a number of rewarding projects where our customers required ESD floor protection as part of their audit and compliance obligations.
The projects have ranged from control rooms in a paper mill in Gippsland, to an innovative lighting manufacturer in Mulgrave setting up a world class manufacturing and research and development facility and finally a hazardous manufacturing environment where uncontrolled static build up and discharge has the potential to be catastrophic.
At all times our diligent team ensure precise adherence to the manufacturer's recommended installation procedure, and our own significant experience in this field allows us to confidently carry out the necessary quality assured installation to comply with the various applicable ESD standards the client has specified.
The end results are delivered after careful consultation with client and can range from a medium duty traffic roll coat system to heavy duty self smoothing trowel applied system, with the ability to tailor textured finishes as required for higher slip resistance if desired. At all times the focus is on performance, but it helps when the floors end up looking great too!
