His distinguished 27-year career in the British Army, including 18 years with the Special Air Service (SAS) where he achieved the rank of Warrant Officer, highlights his exceptional background in executive protection and security training. Tom's extensive experience includes advising Presidential Executive Protection teams, providing high-level security services to ultra-high-net-worth individuals and celebrities. Additionally, he served as a subject matter expert for the Highfield Awarding Body for Compliance (HABC) and the Security Industry Authority (SIA).

In the USA, Matt Burdette joins The ASA Group following a notable tenure as Director of Global Security at UnitedHealthcare Global. In this role, he was instrumental in risk management and threat mitigation for international business travelers and student organizations. Matt’s expertise encompasses oversight of physical security operations, intelligence and threat analysis, travel tracking, aviation security and crisis management. His leadership also included managing multiple evacuation operations in response to security threats and natural disasters. Additionally, he has authored articles on geopolitical issues, including Pakistan’s political landscape, surface-to-air missile threats, and the impact of politicization and duty of care on corporate intelligence.
