"AS IS"

Can you be a Creator or Entrepreneur -- Constantly -- and feel as if you are slipping into a coma at the same time? Does that make sense when answering your calling, navigating the various 'Ages and Stages' of life? How you respond to this 'Inventing' and recognition of your true 'Self' is not intuitively obvious no matter where and when your Career and Life find you.

...It's always you "AS IS"...

Whether in an early, middle, or even late portion of your Career (and Life) you need a plan that you can rely upon. One that understands how YOU resonate with the pathways and shifts encountered. It's good to conceptualize and review that plan as you move forward. The plan will evolve, as will YOU. Remember to trust your 'gut' in the process. It's important to listen, and to be heard.

That is why the Bigger 'Y' is truly about You...

How you arrive at such a realization? Much like Work-Life-Balance -- a fantasy, or fallacy. Balance displays stationary targets where you move cleanly from one 'game level' to the next, completing the latest phase of your Career and Life. That's much like an educational (linear) experience of moving from one grade to the next. It may lead you to believe that you are 'up to' any Challenges and Opportunities because you are the Commanding Officer (the 'C-O').

Yet, you will find growing and more frequent disconnects between you as a Professional and you as Yourself. That's the time to apply corrections, no matter what portion of the Journey. Your experiences and pathways are neither simple nor straightforward. They are interconnected to you "AS IS" -- defined by your "Ages-and-Stages" as you are "Inventing-Self" along the way. That's not the loose change of costs encountered nor linear. It is the cost of Changing YOU.

Life and Career are not Spectator Sports

Just what to expect of the items for discussion and reflection in The Bigger 'Y'? No long assessments, no test questions, no pithy quotes or advice. Just sharing thoughts about opportunities to show-up, play hard, take time-outs, improve your game, and win the series. It's knowing at times you will be overmatched, lose some sets, make errors, and perhaps get injured. To play well while learning, growing, responding, adjusting, adapting, changing positions, and even trading yourself to another team.

...Life and Career are not Spectator Sports, they are physical and mental...

But they are also Social, Financial, Emotional, Intellectual, and Spiritual. That's why The Bigger 'Y' is so important. It is the 'glue of you' that completes "The CALL FOR YOU" as Self and as Professional.
