Manchester City Club: Present in Tokyo in the Form of Hologram

As we know, Manchester City has made history by winning the Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League. With these impressive achievements, they are gearing up for the preseason to pursue more glory. The Citizens have prepared for the 2023-2024 season and begun their Asian tour. That’s why Manchester City came to Tokyo, Japan, where they stayed for a week. Japan and South Korea are the two countries that Manchester City will visit during their Asian preseason tour. This will bring them face to face with Yokohama F. Marinos, Bayern Munich, and Atlético de Madrid. There is something interesting that makes Manchester City’s arrival in Tokyo, Japan, feel quite different. When they landed in Japan, they received a futuristic welcome. Buses with holograms and giant screens were displayed prominently in the city center. This became a sight that amazed the English football players. (Rebound Ads)

Apple TV+ gives first look at upcoming Godzilla universe TV series, reportedly partly filmed in 3D for Vision Pro

Apple TV+?today announced the title of its upcoming Godzilla universe TV series, alongside some first look photos. Entitled “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters,” the series stars Kurt Russell, Wyatt Russell, and more in a story set after the events of the movie?Godzilla (2014), as they uncover their connection to the Monarch organization. The press photos?confirm that Godzilla (and other monsters) will appear across the ten-episode series. Parts of this show have?reportedly been filmed?in Apple’s Immersive Video format, ready for a spatial 3D playback experience on the upcoming Apple Vision Pro headset. Apple has not officially confirmed the use of 3D cameras in production, but it is believed to be working on an array of content for the Vision Pro headset when it launches next year. Apple Immersive Video is a new proprietary video format that captures 180-degree high resolution imagery with spatial audio track. (9 to 5 Mac)

Ralph Lauren launches The 888 House, a surreal digital store fusing fantasy and reality

To celebrate the new arrival of the ‘RL 888’ handbag collection , Ralph Lauren is simultaneously unveiling The 888 House, a virtual concept store and ‘digital expression’, created using computer-generated imagery technology. Set within a virtual desert landscape evocative of Joshua Tree National Park in southeastern California, The 888 House is a surrealistic fusion of fantasy and reality. Visitors are taken through different spaces, showcasing Ralph Lauren Collection icons, as well as the ‘RL 888’ handbag. Visitors can not only immerse themselves in this idealised and multi-faceted world – meticulously rendered to echo the label’s impeccable eye for craftsmanship – they can shop it too. (Wallpaper)

New Ray-Ban Stories could feature livestreaming

With Ray-Ban Stories, you can make calls, take photos and videos, listen to music and podcasts, and dictate messages or have them read to you. They don't have a display, but they weigh less than 50 grams and are almost indistinguishable from regular sunglasses. Rumors have been circulating for some time that partners Meta and EssilorLuxottica are planning to launch a new Ray-Ban Stories. The first generation of the wearable launched in September 2021. The Verge reported in March?that the second-generation glasses could launch in the?fall of 2023, and a?recent Wall Street Journal report?suggested a fall or spring launch. (AR Post)

Alfa Romeo Uses AR to Bring F1 Art Car to Fans Around the World

The?Formula One?Dutch Grand Prix on Aug. 27 will mark the final stop for the Alfa Romeo F1 Team x BOOGIE Art Car, which will be auctioned off to raise money for charity organization Save the Children. Ahead of the auction, fans around the world can view the Art Car in person and in augmented reality. The Alfa Romeo F1 Team x BOOGIE Art Car was painted by German graffiti artist BOOGIE. The car has made stops at F1 events in Switzerland and the U.K. throughout the 2023 season. The Art Car will be displayed in the Fan Zone during the Dutch Grand Prix in Zandvoort, Netherlands, allowing attendees to view the vehicle in person. Those around the world can also view the vehicle in augmented reality through Alfa Romeo’s partnership with AR company JigSpace. (Ad Week)
