We frequently come across landslide lakes in the process of lake creation due to the soil composition and environment of the Black Sea region. A regular natural hazard in the Black Sea region is landslides brought on by torrential rain. As a result, lakes like Karag?l are created and streams that are already flowing are dammed. In the 1800s, Karag?l has occured by these reasons.
People can feel at ease because of the lush setting, the crystal-clear water, and the freely swimming fish in the lake where hunting is not permitted. It is one of Turkey's most unspoilt lakes and is home to a large population of red-spotted trout. The majority of people call this lake heaven because of its rich vegetation. It was designated Bor?ka Karag?l Nature Park in 2002 and was given the classification of a nature park.

Karag?l is typically 25 meters deep. Some safety measures were implemented when alluvium began to fill the lake, which was previously believed to be deeper. The opportunity to wander around the lake has also risen as a result of the hiking routes that surround it.
Swimming is not permitted in Karag?l. In addition to the enjoyment of viewing from here, Karag?l, one of the few locations that hasn't yet been put down, can be thought of as a rare haven in a world where everything is unnatural. You'll want to take some time to pause here, accompanied by the chirping of birds, as dozens of shades of green are cheerfully reflected in the lake's waters.
