Thinking about this process that started back there, when wealth was no longer backed up and the currency came to be printed, giving governments full freedom to issue coins according to their needs, and now, with the arrival of the virtual currency, that is how the idea of artsidcoin came about.

Artsidcoin - a currency backed by the career of an artist who made his professional path totally independent of the market.

Entitled himself as a researcher, Sidnei's works are inspired by cities, religions, monuments and, in a general way, the human being. Sidnei, at the age of 60 and with a thirty-two years career, performed more than 20 art projects, traveled, photographed and painted across the six continents. More than 1500 works of art, including drawings and paintings, are the results of his research and creativity.

For this new project Sidnei Tendler proposes 200 drawings using various techniques on paper in the dimensions of 10 X 15 cm (postcard format) per month and put for sale to serve as a bargaining chip. The initial value of an artsidcoin will be 50 euros. The fluctuation of this value will follow the rules of the market based on the law of supply and demand. All drawings will be dated and signed and the commitment of the artist is not to exceed the production of 200 monthly artworks.
