A thousand steps

Facing fears  

No regrets 

Life a passenger travelling through time 

Lessons lived at every turn

All is well when we learn

Birdsong twittering their joyful line 

Spring singing its chorus of renewal 

Natures scent 

Sweet Honey dew 

Fragrantly floating on air

Angels tread on snow capped plains 

Their chosen path preordained 

Only they would dare

A fresh breeze dancing through lilac fields

Beautiful flowers sway and yield

Moving in tune with the flow 

A beacon of hope a pinnacle in white

The parish on the hill

Hope filled hearts with gratitude too

Prayers to the heavens 

With love winning through

Memories of yesterday’s call out to you

Captured perfectly 

The scene in a frame

Efforts made and not in vain 

Creativity to purvey 

Deliverance from darker days
