Itzhak Perlman, violin : Itzhak?Perlman performs a sold-out show of his multimedia program An Evening with Itzhak Perlman at the Staller Center in Stony Brook, NY on May 4. He brings his popular klezmer program In the Fiddler’s House to?the Houston Symphony on May 12 for the culmination of his three-year residency as Artistic Partner. On May 16, he is joined by pianist Rohan De Silva in a recital at the?Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto.

Randall Goosby, violin :?Randall Goosby makes his National Symphony Orchestra ?debut on May 16-19?at The Kennedy Center with Thomas Wilkins. He and Wilkins perform again on June 11-14 with the New York Philharmonic in the?New York Philharmonic's outdoor?Concerts in the Parks?Series which includes a concert in Central Park.

Seong-Jin Cho, piano : Seong-Jin Cho returns to the mainstage of?Carnegie Hall at Stern Auditorium ?for a recital on May 17 following a May 15 appearance at the?Caramoor Center for Music and Arts ?in Katonah, NY.

Joshua Bell, violin : Joshua Bell and soprano Larisa Martínez embark on a U.S. recital tour of their?Voice and the Violin program?at the Renée & Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall in Costa Mesa, CA on May 5;?the Lied Center for Performing Arts ?in Lincoln, NE on May 9;?the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts ?in Scottsdale, AZ on May 11,?and?McCarter Theatre Center in Princeton, NJ on May 28. From May 16 to 18, he performs with the?San Francisco Symphony led by Ryan Bancroft and with the Kansas City Symphony led by Michael Stern from May 31 to June 2.

Gemma New, conductor : In the culmination of a successful nine-year tenure,?Gemma New leads the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra (HPO) in two final concerts before stepping down as Music Director. On May 1, she led the HPO in the program of Intimate & Immersive: Suspended Doorways at The Cotton Factory ?and conducts Beethoven Symphony No. 9 in her finale concert on May 4.

American Composers Orchestra : PR client American Composers Orchestra and Perelman Performing Arts Center (PAC NYC) join to present the New York premiere of An American Soldier , a new opera by composer Huang Ruo and librettist David Henry Hwang based on a powerful true story, from May 12 to 19.

Apollo Chamber Players, ensemble : PR client Apollo Chamber Players present MUTED , the finale program of their 16th season Silenced Voices, at Rice University’s Duncan Recital Hall on May 24. A portion of proceeds benefits NAMI Houston, a local organization addressing families and persons affected by mental illness.

Layale Chaker, violin / composer : PR client Layale Chaker will release two new portrait albums – Vigil, featuring ETHEL, and Radio Afloat, featuring Chaker’s chamber jazz ensemble Sarafand –?on May 17 on In A Circle Records. From May 14 to June 1, Spoleto Festival USA presents the world premiere of Chaker’s debut opera, Ruinous Gods, at the College of Charleston Sottile Theatre.

Samantha Hankey, mezzo-soprano : PR client Samantha Hankey stars as the Fox in Detroit Opera’s The Cunning Little Vixen , conducted by Roberto Kalb, from May 11 to 19. She appears as Cherubino in Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro at Semperoper Dresden on May 25 and June 1.

Jeffrey Kahane, conductor & The Knights : Carnegie Hall presents PR client The Knights at Carnegie Hall's Zankel Hall on May 16. This program celebrating family spotlights the New York City premieres of Gabriel Kahane’s Heirloom, featuring PR client Jeffrey Kahane on piano, and Anna Clyne’s Shorthand for Cello and Orchestra, featuring cellist Karen Ouzounian.

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts : PR client Lincoln Center has announced the 2024 Summer for the City Festival season from June 12 to August 10, 2024. In Jonathon Heyward’s inaugural season as Music Director of the Festival Orchestra of Lincoln Center, the beloved summer orchestra performs iconic classical music alongside new and rediscovered works, including the North American Premiere of Huang Ruo’s City of Floating Sounds.

JACK Quartet, ensemble : PR client JACK Quartet returns for its annual Wigmore Hall marathon on May 11, performing three distinct Modern Medieval programs highlighting elements of early music alongside a world premiere by Vicente Atria; European premieres by Chris Otto, Austin Wulliman, Juri Seo and Amy Williams;and a U.K. premiere by Liza Lim. The following evening, May 12, the ensemble brings a modified version of the final concert program to Pierre Boulez Saal in Berlin, Germany.

MATA : Over four evenings from May 15 to 18, PR client Music at the Anthology (MATA) presents its 26th MATA Festival at Fotografiska New York on the theme of human connection in relation to technology. The festival features 23 composers, 10 world premieres and 10 New York premieres. Tickets include the full day's museum admission.

David T. Little, composer : PR client David T. Little's GRAMMY?-nominated opera Black Lodge has its European premiere production at the Netherlands’ international O. Fest on May 17 and 18. The European premiere of his 1986 for string orchestra takes place on May 18 in Konzerthaus Berlin, performed by the Berlin Academy of American Music led by Garrett Keast.

Enescu Festival :The 2024 edition of PR client Enescu Festival’s biennial George Enescu International Competition will take place from August 31 to September 27, 2024, in Bucharest, Romania. Application deadlines are May 17, 2024 for the Cello, Violin and Piano divisions and June 30, 2024 for Composition entries.

Karen Slack, soprano : PR client Karen Slack makes her highly anticipated New York Philharmonic debut from May 8-10 in Beethoven’s Ah, perfido! led by conductor Jane Glover at the Wu Tsai Theater in David Geffen Hall.

Miró Quartet, string quartet : Pentatone releases PR client Miró Quartet’s newest album, Home , on May 10. The album explores the many meanings of “home” through two new commissions by Kevin Puts and Caroline Shaw, paired with works by George Walker and Samuel Barber.

Lorelei Ensemble and Christopher Cerrone, composer : PR clients Christopher Cerrone and Lorelei Ensemble release the world premiere recording of Cerrone’s Beaufort Scales on May 17, 2024 on the Cold Blue Music label.

Sphinx Organization : PR client Sphinx Organization makes its Wigmore Hall debut on May 26 in American Sketches, a program of works by celebrated American composers Jessie Montgomery, Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson, Billy Strayhorn, Tania León, William Grant Still and Florence Price.
