Be An Artist

Most artists can’t draw, but all artists can see”

We can see what’s right and what’s wrong. We can see opportunities and we can see around corners. Most of all, we can see art.

Art isn’t only a painting. Art is anything that’s creative, passionate, and personal. And great art resonates with the viewer, not only with the creator.

What makes someone an artist? I don’t think it has anything to do with a paintbrush or guitar or in front of camera. Charlie chaplin was an artist, beyond a doubt. So is Jonathan Ive, who designed the ipod, you can be artist who works with oil paints or marble, sure. But there are artists who work with numbers, business models, sales, and customer’s conversations. Art is about intent and communication, not substance.

An artist is someone who uses bravery, insight, creativity, and boldness to challenge the status quo. And an artist takes it personally.

Art is a personal gift that changes the recipient. The medium doesn’t matter. The intent does.

Art is a personal act of courage, something one human does that creates change in another.

An artist is an individual who creates art. The more people you change, the more you change them, the more effective your art is.

Art is not related to craft, except to the extent that the craft helps deliver the change. Technical skills might be a helpful component in making art, but it’s certainly not required. Art doesn’t have to be decorative; it can be useful as long as the use causes change.

Art is certainly not limited to painting or sculpture or song writing or music composing. If there is no change, there is no art. If no one experiences it, there can be no change.

A cook is not an artist. A cook follow recipe, A chef is an artist. An artist when it invents a new way of cooking or a new type of dish that creates surprise or joy or pleasure for the person created for.

If art is human connection that causes someone to change his mind, then you are an artist.

I strongly feel art is the ability to change people with your work, to see things as they are and then stories, images and interactions that change the market place

But art needs to be highly supported with passion. Passion isn’t project-specific. It’s person-specific. Some people are hooked on passion, deriving their sense of self from the act of being passionate.

Perhaps your challenge isn’t finding a better project or better boss. Perhaps you need to get in touch with what it means to feel passionate. People with passion look for ways to make things happen.

The combination of passion and art is what makes someone an artist.

By all possible means, you can’t make art for everyone. There are too many conflicting goals and there’s far too much noise. Art for everyone is mediocre, bland, and ineffective. If you don’t pinpoint your audience, you end up making your art for the loudest, crankiest critics.

Why aren’t all marketers amazingly great at being marketer?

I think its fear, and I think we’re even afraid to talk about this sort of fear. Fear of art.  Of being laughed at. Of standing out and of standing for something

Now, though, the economy is forcing us to confront this fear. The economy is ruthlessly punishing the fearful, and increasing the benefits to the few who are brave enough to create art and generous enough to give it away.

It doesn’t matter what profession you are into, but it is extremely critical for you to think yourself an artist first and then anything else.

There is too much of competition of being xyz professional but very limited competition of being artist and very large vacuum available.

World needs artist; can your work become a piece of art for better tomorrow?

Job pays the bill; whereas art creates the wealth

Be an artist!

We are an artist as we all have some kind of imaginations. It's time to put them on the canvass which could be anything! A human, an actual canvass, a workplace or a universe or anything which can absorb your imaginations and reflect them well !
